About Us
UA Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777 was chartered in
1994. The Local evolved from the merge of twenty-one former
Connecticut Locals. We now boast a membership of over 3200
journeypersons, retirees and apprentices. Our trade
jurisdiction encompasses the entire State of Connecticut
where our members work on residential, commercial,
educational and industrial projects from small renovation
jobs to billion dollar construction projects. In addition,
we also work on all types of fuel cell energy, nuclear, co-gen
and fossil fuel plants.
Our members are licensed journeypersons and registered
apprentices as required by the State of Connecticut. We have
extensive continuing education and certification programs
available for our members at no cost to them except for
textbooks.
Local 777 supplies a superbly trained workforce for our
signatory Mechanical Contractors and provides them with a
professional and motivated workforce to accomplish their
goals on time, within budget and with the utmost of safety
in mind.
